Stepping away from social media is not about disappearing. It’s about creating space to recharge, refocus, and build something meaningful. After grinding nonstop for my community, family, and the vision of Black Investors Coalition, I’m taking a two-month break from posting and constant online presence. This pause is essential to come back sharper, clearer, and more intentional.
Even though I’m stepping back from daily scrolling and posting, I’m not stepping away from the work. You’ll still receive the Thursday Digest, Stock Market Charlie’s Weekly Outlook, and Viewpoints. I will continue studying markets, writing, and building, but with renewed energy and focus on the next level of what we’re creating together.
Why Taking a Break Matters
Constantly being online can drain your energy and cloud your focus. For those of us building wealth and community, it’s easy to get caught in the cycle of nonstop posting, reacting, and consuming content. This can lead to burnout and distraction from the bigger picture.
Taking a break helps:
Recharge your mental and emotional energy
Gain clarity on your goals and vision
Focus on deep work without interruptions
Build stronger, more intentional connections offline
Prepare for new projects and initiatives
For me, this break is about stepping back to move forward with more power and purpose.
Staying Connected While Stepping Back
Even though I’m reducing my social media activity, I’m committed to keeping you informed and engaged. Here’s what you can expect during this time:
Thursday Digest every week: A curated summary of key insights and updates
Stock Market Charlie’s Weekly Outlook: Market trends and analysis to help you make informed decisions
Stock Market Charlie’s Viewpoints: Thoughtful commentary on investing, wealth building, and community
These updates will keep you connected to the latest market movements and community news without the noise of daily posts.
The Upcoming Book Release
One of the main reasons for this break is to focus on my new book, releasing on April 6, 2026. The book is titled:
“If You Don’t Come From a Wealthy Family, Make Sure a Wealthy Family Comes From You”
This book is my heart and soul. It shares my story, the reality of our community, and a blueprint for anyone tired of poverty defining their family legacy. It covers:
Starting from nothing
Learning the markets
Building lasting wealth that can outlive you
This book is for first-generation wealth builders, those breaking every statistic stacked against them, and families determined to change their future.

Who This Book Is For
The book speaks directly to:
First-generation wealth builders who are creating new paths
People breaking cycles of poverty and defying odds
Moms, dads, aunties, uncles, and young kings and queens committed to changing their family’s story
It’s a guide for anyone ready to take control of their financial future and build a legacy of wealth.
How You Can Prepare and Support
As I take this time to rest and focus, I invite you to lean in and prepare for what’s next:
Subscribe to the Thursday Digest and weekly articles to stay informed
Stay connected with the Black Investors Coalition community
Get ready to support and share the book when it launches in April 2026
Your support will help spread this message and empower more people to build wealth and break generational cycles.
Why Building Wealth Is a Community Effort
Wealth building is not just about individual success. It’s about lifting up families, communities, and future generations. When one person breaks through, it creates opportunities for many others.
By focusing on community, sharing knowledge, and supporting each other, we create a stronger foundation for lasting change. This break is part of that process—building something bigger than myself.
The Importance of Intentional Rest
Rest is often overlooked in the pursuit of success. But intentional rest is a powerful tool for growth. It allows you to:
Reflect on your progress
Recharge your creativity and motivation
Avoid burnout and maintain long-term focus
Taking time off social media is a way to protect my energy and ensure I can keep pouring into this community with full strength.
What Comes Next
After this break, I will return with renewed focus and new projects, including the book launch and expanded community initiatives. The goal is to provide even more value, support, and resources for wealth builders everywhere.
This is a moment to pause, prepare, and come back stronger.
Thank you for every like, share, comment, and message you’ve sent. Your engagement fuels this work. Now it’s time for me to refill so I can keep pouring into you.
I may not come from a wealthy family, but I promise you, a wealthy family is going to come from me. I want the same for you.
Let’s keep building together.
